There's been a lot of requests on the forum recently for songs from "All Shook Down" - this isn't one of them, but while investigating this ditty hit the CD player and I knew I HAD to learn it. And so I did. ANd now I impart that wisdom unto you. This song is in Open G - so far as I know, the only song on ASD in open G (though the jury's still out on 'Attitude' - anyone have a clue?) Open G is (low E to high E) DGDGBD. Paul uses it all the time. The song revolves around the MAIN RIFF. It starts with the MAIN RIFF. One quick listen will tell ya - Paul doubletracks his guitar part, giving it uber-balls. Those high stings are everywhere, but the main ones (the first ones, not in brackets) those are over-emphasized with, I believe, the 2nd guitar. My first thought when I heard the song was he was only doing those stings on the first part of the riff but they are indeed heard throughout - just a little gentler every 2nd time. If I was playing this song true to the spirit on solo guitar, I'd only play it every 2nd time. Also note: the 'strong' guitar is only playing the A and D strings on that sliding section. The song is like, that riff most of the time.
